SPREADING OUR STORY
From the beginning, we knew that we had to give back to the community that helped us get to where we are by sharing what we have been able to accomplish. We also believe it is important share what we've been able to do in order to inspire others. Listed below are some of the ways we have spread our story:
Radio interview with Melody Burns (1300 AM Albany)
One co-founder, Elizabeth Robertson, talked live with Melody Burns on 1300 AM Albany. They talked about what is happening in the places that We Give Water wants to make an impact. They also talked about fundraising and about our project.
TV interview with John Craig
(News Channel 13)
On March 22, 2018, in honor of World Water Day, all of the We Give Water co-founders were interviewed by John Craig from News Channel 13. We talked about our project and what the community can do to help.
Sharing in Schools
Over the past four years, our team has taken every chance given to us to share our story with those in our community. We have presented to all grade levels at Ravena Coeymans Selkirk School District, from elementary to high school. We have also shared our story with students at Hunter College Elementary School in NYC.
FIRST Annual Report
At the conclusion of the 2017-2018 FIRST Season, our team was selected to be interviewed and put in the FIRST Annual Report.

Feature in an Upworthy Article
In April of 2022, we were contacted by Upworthy to be featured in an article about FIRST and STEM. One of our co-founders, Elizabeth Robertson, answered some questions and contributed to the article.
